Tristan Kading
About Me:
I am a senior at UCONN Avery Point majoring in Marine Chemistry. I work with Dr. Gai in the
"Laboratory for Astrophysics" as well as with Dr. Mason in Marine Sciences. My research interests
include the biogeochemistry of heavy metals, environmental radionuclides, and stellar nuclear reactions.
I am working on an undergraduate thesis for the honor's program examining the history of mercury pollution
in the Chesapeake Bay from Pb-210 dated sediment cores. The above picture is from the cruise we went
on to collect samples.
